This month we thought we’d shine a light on one of our long-term suppliers and write about the wonderful world of lashes and how they’ve re-emerged into the beauty and makeup scene in a major way.
Huge in the 60s, lashes have always been en vogue, however they’ve become huge in the last decade and lash extensions have become the order of the day.
At Blush Bar we have the fabulous girls at Lux Lash Studio who provide an unparalleled, quality service and for those of you who don’t particularly want the maintenance or cannot enjoy lash extensions due to health concerns, we have Lash Republic by Milan & Co. which we use in several of our services (Lash me up, The Whole She-Bang).
Lash Republic is owned and operated by a makeup artist who knows and understands what our client’s needs and wants us.
The beauty about these lashes is that they come in full, half or quarter bar size, full volume, natural and there’s even an avant garde selection for those who dare to be different.
The lashes are 100% human hair which makes a huge difference to the quality and feel of the lash. We also have the Lash Republic style selectors ™ which allows you to visually see what the lash looks like up against your own eye prior to application.
They’re reusable with the correct care and the glue is latex free. With the influx of faux lashes currently flooding the market, we like to think of this product as a quality, affordable and luxurious product favoured and revered by makeup artists around the world.
