What is a Dermal Filler?

Dermal filler is Hyaluronic acid (HA). Hyaluronic acid is found naturally throughout the body. In the skin hyaluronic acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated. As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thin lips. Injectable HA is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips. The effects of injectable hyaluronic acid are seen immediately.

How Long Does Dermal Filler Last?

All depends on the product, the area of treatment and the patient. Generally Dermal Filler in lips last 18 – 24 months. Dermal Filler in Cheeks can last anywhere between 6 – 18 months. To maintain your results, your cosmetic nurse will simply repeat treatment, adjusting the amount and techniques as necessary to ensure optimal results.

What Is Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Anti-wrinkle injections work by injecting a natural protein that relaxes targeted and specific muscles we use when making facial expressions resulting in a fresh and natural looking face. Anti-Wrinkle injections also help to reduce and remove wrinkles all over the face.
