What You Need to Know About Keratin Smoothing Treatment

Ill be the first one to admit that I didn't know much about Keratin Smoothing Treatments when they first hit the market, thinking they were for those women that had huge, unruly hair (which is totally NOT me). I wash my hair a couple of times per week, blowdry it myself, (if I'm not organised enough to book a salon appointment - insert eye roll) and it usually sits up in a mumma top knot 99% of its life. How long will my treatment last?

Will my hair by permanently straight?

No, your hair will be softer and more relaxed. You will still have curl with reduced frizz and flyaways. The treatment buffers away any coarseness in the hair and eliminates frizz, providing your curl with a much needed taming.

Will I still be able to get movement, texture and bounce in my hair?

Yes, you will still have natural volume and be able to blow dry volume and curl into your hair.

Is it a pleasant salon experience?

Does it have any harmful chemicals in it?
