Blush Bar was born when I saw a need for convenient, high-quality makeup and hairstyling services. I was convinced that there had to be a better option than traditional hairdressers and department store makeup counters, but there wasn't, so Blush Bar Newtown (the first of it's kind) opened it's pretty pink doors in 2014.

My vision was to create a space that was truly all about the experience. A beautiful inviting aesthetic, a luxe, lounge bar atmosphere, a VIP membership program; a convenient one stop beauty shop where guests could sit back, enjoy a glass of champagne and get 'red-carpet-ready'.

From day one, I wanted to approach things thoughtfully and differently. We are in the business of pretty, but we are more than just a pretty face. Everything we have created has had both our clients and our team at the forefront of my mind.

After much growth and learning and years of refining, Blush Bar Torquay opened in 2021, followed by Blush Bar Ocean Grove in 2024. We can proudly say that we have established ourselves as the premiere brand for female beauty and styling across the region.

My promise is that I will always listen to feedback, and Blush Bar will continue to expand, learn and grow and offer unique, affordable luxury. This is what sets us apart.
