For me, the magic of a special occasion has always started long before the event itself.

I often used to have more fun getting ready with my girlfriends — hair dryers going, makeup brushes and a glass of champagne in hand — than at the event. Those moments of connection, excitement, and transformation were pure joy.

My vision when i created Blush Bar in 2014 was to bottle that feeling and create a space that was truly all about the experience. A space that felt elevated yet warm, luxe yet fun and feminine. Somewhere our clients could feel like a special guest at a party — where they could sit back, enjoy a glass of champagne and get 'red-carpet-ready'. Every detail was designed to make getting ready part of the magic.

From day one, I wanted to approach things thoughtfully and differently. We are in the business of pretty, but we are more than just a pretty face. From our very first pink doors in Newtown to our beautiful spaces in Torquay (2021) and Ocean Grove (2024), the vision has never changed: to create unforgettable experiences that make every client feel confident, beautiful, and ready for their red-carpet moment.
