Want to be part of Blush Bar’s Summer Squad?
Summer is coming and all of us at Blush Bar are going to need some extra hands on deck to get us through an unprecedentedly busy Spring/Summer season of makeup, blowouts and bubbles in our Newtown, Torquay and new Ocean Grove salons!
Our Summer Squad join us for the crazy months to support our salon teams during all the fun of spring carnival, Christmas parties and the extended wedding season. To give you a taste, start thinking of being a part of lavish on location touchup stations, luxe brand workshops, Bubbles Bar events, a glamorous staff end of year celebration and a pumping salon experience.
To join Blush Bar’s Summer Squad you need to be a high-energy, bubbly and enthusiastic individual ready for a high intensity environment. You need to love hair and/or makeup and enjoy hosting and creating connections with our guests. You will have previous hair and/or makeup artistry experience with a certificate, diploma and/or industry experience.
To ensure that we are able to provide our Blush Bar clients with the most exceptional experience whilst our salons are busier than ever, we look for Summer Squad members who are available Friday and Saturday as a minimum, Spring Carnival, New Years Eve day, with flexibility to work midweek and evening events when required.
Depending upon which salon location you will be supporting, you will be offered a minimum of a 4 month casual contract, beginning in September, that may be extended and even upgraded to a permanent position for those squad members who excel and show to embody all of the Blush Bar values.
To reward and recognise our incredible squad members we offer product and service discounts, access to training masterclasses with Napoleon Perdis' Nathan Kake and Shev Kelly, to name just a few. To ensure that you are set up for success we will be holding a full two day induction and onboarding session, as well as multiple technical workshops hosted by our leadership team to fine tune your skills before hitting the ground running.
